Brentwood Aquatics Center
Designed as a multi-use aquatic center for the community, this project incorporates three pools with a total of 15,000 SF of water, a 5,500 SF bathhouse plus 12,000 SF of deck and lawn areas with shade structures.
The facility is planned for leisure and recreational swimming plus programs for team swimming, diving, water sports, and other deep-water activities. The family, activity, and recreation pools incorporate a “zero entry” deck, slides, water features, and lap pools to accommodate all ages and abilities, plus shallow water instructional programs. A 25 yard by 25 meter competition pool with depths from 2 to 4 meters provides a facility for U.S. and international swim competition, water polo, synchronized swimming programs, diving, and deep water instruction.
